In September of 2017, Francesca's mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma — a rare, incurable cancer of the plasma cells found in bone marrow.
Her dad died less than two years earlier.
When the Saraco's learned of the cancer, Francesca took on the role of her mother's primary caregiver.
It was a challenging, scary, overwhelming and wonderful time in her life. This is her story.
